TRAUMA THERAPY
TRAUMA THERAPY
Reconnect With Yourself
Past and current trauma can affect the way you understand yourself, respond to difficult situations, and connect with other people. You may feel overwhelmed, remain in survival mode, or rely on substances and other behaviors to numb painful emotions. Through online trauma therapy, I provide support as a therapist to help you process these experiences with compassion. Difficult experiences can also affect close relationships and create concerns sometimes explored through marriage counseling. Together, we can work toward healing and developing a safer connection with yourself and others.
My approach to trauma therapy is holistic and considers the connections among your mind, body, nervous system, relationships, family system, and life experiences. Rather than focusing only on immediate distress, I help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck and understand how earlier experiences continue to affect your present life. Trauma can also shape relationship patterns that may surface in couples therapy. For those who may have considered support from a therapist, this therapeutic process offers another path focused on individual needs and goals. I may incorporate EMDR, nervous system healing, family systems perspectives, and inner child and reparenting work to support meaningful and lasting change.
My goal in online trauma therapy is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel understood and move toward greater clarity, resilience, balance, and healing. As your therapist, I will support you in exploring how difficult experiences affect close relationships with others, and yourself. You do not have to navigate the effects of trauma alone.
